ChromQuest - CChromQuest 5.0

ChromQuest (shown as CChromQuest) is a chromatography data system (CDS) from Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Thermo Electron/Thermo Finnigan). It is used in analytical laboratories to control compatible Thermo GC and LC instruments, acquire chromatographic data, and perform processing tasks such as peak integration, calibration/quantitation, and report generation. When configured with user management and audit trails, it supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

CChromQuest is the main desktop application/executable. A typical installation also includes instrument drivers/servers and a local project/results database. You’ll often find it under a Thermo/ChromQuest folder in Program Files.

Note that ChromQuest is a legacy product (commonly versions 3–4.x) designed for older Windows systems; it has largely been superseded by Chromeleon CDS. If you don’t use Thermo GC/LC hardware, it may be safe to remove, but back up any projects and methods first and follow your lab’s SOPs.
